New Brand Identity Unveiled for Skyline Glass

Jun 01, 2024

Iconic Chicago-based architectural glass manufacturer, Skyline Design, launches a fresh brand identity at this year’s NeoCon.

In partnership with local communication design firm, SPAN Studio, who is attached to the branding design of mainstays Holly Hunt and Maya Romanoff, Skyline introduces a bold, simplified logo and visual identity system that prioritizes versatility and modernity, reflecting the company’s future-facing approach.

Recent years have brought major changes in the Skyline business. Born in 1983 as a custom house specializing in decorative glass, Skyline maintains its core tenets of quality execution and creative collaboration. In 2023, the business turned 40 and former COO, Vipul Bhagat, took the reins as President and CEO.

Under Bhagat’s leadership, Skyline has continued to broaden its offering of a uniquely diverse portfolio of glass products, adding switchable “smart” glass, acoustic glass, glassboards, and film studio to its specialization of decorative architectural glass.

“We aim to make it easier to do business with Skyline,” said Bhagat. “The new look will draw attention to our focus on quality design and continual reinvention, while pushing for clarity and accessibility in our brand communication.”

“We want our brand to look as good as our glass!” Adds Design Director, Darcie Tashey-Young.

The unveiling of Skyline’s refreshed brand identity marks an exciting milestone in the company’s journey, signaling a new chapter of growth and opportunity.
