Smart Glass gives a single surface two states: clear when a space needs to feel open, private the moment it doesn't, with no curtains, blinds, or added hardware.
An electrical current aligns the liquid crystals inside the glass, switching it between clear and private in under a second. The technology is sealed inside the laminated makeup, which makes the surface easy to clean, pathogen-resistant, and suited to healthcare, workplace, hospitality, and retail interiors. Available as laminated glass, as a factory-integrated framing system, or as a retrofit film for glass already in place.
Glass Types: Laminated or Retrofit Film
Glass Sizes: Up to 70" x 144", depending on product
Control: Wall switches, remotes, touch screens, and integration with Google, Alexa, Lutron, Crestron, and Control4
Laminated PDLC switchable glass made in our Chicago factory, in sizes up to 70" x 144". Doubles as a rear projection surface or a writable wall, and can be combined with digitally printed or Eco-etch® patterning, logos, and color.
CASE STUDY: Nebraska Medical Innovation Design Unit

A proprietary liquid crystal formulation applied directly to the glass, with no film interlayer. 36 million on-off cycles. Less than 3% haze at 90 degrees and less than 5% from any angle, for spaces where clarity is not negotiable.

Turns existing glass into smart glass without replacing the glazing. Interlayers are precision-cut and wired in our Chicago factory, in panels up to 59" x 144".
CASE STUDY: Capita Financial

Privacy on demand replaces the curtains, blinds, and fabric treatments that collect dust and harbor infection.
Where It Works
Healthcare: Patient and corridor-facing rooms, ICU and NICU, neonatal units, isolation units, and medical office buildings. Discreet patient monitoring without sacrificing natural light or privacy.
Workplace: Conference rooms, executive suites, private offices, lobbies, and desk dividers. Mitigates sound transmission while keeping open floor plans daylit.
Hospitality: Guest rooms, bathroom enclosures, spas, glass elevators, and convention halls. Cuts laundering and replacement costs tied to window treatments.
Retail: Storefronts, dressing rooms, in-store displays, and visual merchandising. Transparent to reveal the store interior, opaque to serve as a projection surface.
How It Works
In the ON state, the liquid crystals align uniformly and light passes through, creating a clear view. In the OFF state, the crystals scatter, diffusing light while fully obscuring the view. The switch happens in milliseconds, and the private state draws no power.
