Gene Lynch Urban Park
Skyline fabricated the laminated glass panels for Synesthesia, a vibrant public art installation by artist Becky Borlan at Gene Lynch Urban Park.
The kaleidoscopic imagery—originally photographed through a glass aquarium by Nathan Mitchell—was translated into large-scale graphics and laminated between two lites of low-iron glass using EVA interlayers engineered for outdoor durability. The pristine clarity of the glass allows the vivid color and intricate detail of the artwork to shine through. Installed within a stainless-steel pergola and illuminated by LEDs, the result is a dynamic, immersive experience—transforming the park both day and night.
